Laura Shane-McWhorter, PharmD, BCPS, FASCP, BC-ADM, CDE, has more than 20 years of experience in the education and care of patients with diabetes. She is an active member and past chair of the Pharmacy Specialty Practice Group of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and teaches the Herbal Medicines and Natural Drug Products course at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy.
