Yet, there are reasons why fasted exercise (at the right intensity) may be a good idea for many adults. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christians have a few days of fasting during Lent (which we are currently in) for healthy non-pregnant adults. Because the days are not adjacent, the exercise consideration is much less of an issue, as Christians can just exercise the rest of the week or just walk on fasting days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, from what I gather from talking to people I know, Ramadan is about a continuous month of (physical and spiritual) fasting during daylight hours.
